PUDDLE

Definition:

The PUDDLE is a series of reversing HALF AXELS. With each HALF AXEL, the kite alternates between 3:00 and 9:00 O'clock positions. The trick is entered from a horizontal line of flight and must stay on the same spot in the window and exits in a straight horizontal line.

Key elements:

Minimum three Half Axels (wingtips vertical!). Constant speed. On the spot.  Horizontal entry and exit. 5 Half Axels for an EXCELLENT score.

Judges view:

Each half axel must be complete. The kite must stay on the spot. OUT is a horizontal flight (right or left).

Most common errors:

No full half axels, drifting sideways, going up or down.
